On Tuesday, July 30th, Amazon Music teamed up with their latest Breakthrough artist Arya Starr to host the premiere of their new documentary titled Ayra Starr: Dare to Dream. The intimate screening took place at Culver Theater in Culver City, California.
Produced by Homecoming, Dare to Dream highlights Ayra Starr’s transformation from just a girl to one of the most sought after African artists of our generation. The best part is, she never shys away from being herself, manifesting her own dreams into a reality.

After the screening, Ayra Starr did a special Q&A where fans were able to ask questions at the end. When it comes to her confidence, she credits it to her Nigerian roots.
“I’m Nigerian, it comes with a lot,” she explains. “We’re born very confident. We’re taught to be very confident and be the best. If you can do it, I can do it. That’s how I was brought up. That’s very much a reflection of that. Also, I’ve been a very confident person. I grew up around strong amazing women that have inspired me and still inspire me.”
