The fourth annual Bomb Fashion Show, hosted by Fashion Bomb Daily, lit up New York City’s Lavan Midtown last night, showcasing a parade of creativity and flair that left fashion lovers buzzing. This year’s show was a glamorous spectacle, filled with bold designs and unforgettable moments.
Hollywood icon Vivica A. Fox commanded the stage as the evening’s hostess, captivating the audience with her charm, wit, and undeniable star power. With her infectious energy, she guided the fashion bombers and bombshells—dressed in their chicest attire—through an evening that promised and delivered fashion excellence. From the moment guests stepped into the venue, they were struck by the stunning architectural layout, a collaborative masterpiece between Her Kreations and Events by Juana.
Sponsored by Jesseca Harris-Dupart’s Kaleidoscope Hair Company and the Atlanta-based beauty tech startup Myavana, the show featured several interactive activations for guests to enjoy, alongside a mouth-watering selection from Slutty Vegan, The Waffle Chic, and refreshing sips courtesy of Luc Belaire. Fashion bombers were spoiled for choice, with every detail thoughtfully curated to elevate their experience.
Since its inception in 2021, The Bomb Fashion Show has rapidly become a New York Fashion Week staple, known for shining a spotlight on rising designers and delivering a show-stopping experience. This year was no different, with America’s Next Top Model’s Eva Marcille and Jay Manuel gracing the front row, showing their support for the new wave of fashion talent taking over the runway.
The runway opened with an electrifying collection by Beeombi, a Kansas City native with an impressive résumé designing for television and film. Known for dressing stars like Tyler Perry, Teyana Taylor, and Porsha Williams, Beeombi brought a sleek, all-black collection to the stage that was both innovative and captivating. The pieces, full of striking cuts and avant-garde silhouettes, screamed sophistication with an edge—a perfect tribute to the designer’s bold style.
Switching gears from Beeombi’s monochromatic magic, Nikki Blaine Couture dazzled the crowd with her “Green with Envy” collection, a refreshing burst of vibrant hues, intricate lacework, and daring cutouts. Each piece was a statement, proving that Blaine knows how to blend classic elegance with a modern twist.
Next up was Coryn Monet of Envysaje Atelier, a self-taught designer whose collection embodied her unique aesthetic sensibilities. Fresh from a stint in France, Monet channeled “quiet luxury” into her designs, utilizing neutral palettes and lighter tones. Her sophisticated pieces, with a European influence, radiated effortless elegance—establishing her as a force to watch in the fashion world.
Then came the playful yet sophisticated designs of LAHA’s children’s wear by Lillian Tiner. Hailing from St. Louis, Tiner brought a fresh perspective to children’s fashion, infusing modernity into traditional styles. Her line was a delightful display of how creativity can transform children’s clothing into mini high fashion moments.
Another standout from St. Louis, Tiara Peach, turned heads with her luxe line, The Fur and Leather Centre. Known for its vibrant mink coats with luxurious silk linings, the collection was a feast for the eyes. The explosion of color and texture redefined classic fur and leather into bold statements of individuality. Peach’s runway also featured a memorable moment when Love & Hip Hop star Yandy Smith cheered on her son, lil Mendeecees, who looked effortlessly cool in a western black and white cowhide set from The Fur and Leather Centre.
A special highlight of the night was the mother-son duo, the legendary Misa Hylton and Justin Combs. The Misa Hylton Fashion Academy showcased a range of bespoke garments that radiated individuality and street-chic aesthetics, a testament to Hylton’s longstanding influence in fashion.
Capping off the evening was rapper Madison Star, who closed the show with a bang. Dressed in a dazzling embellished mesh ensemble, she delivered an electrifying performance that had the audience on their feet, wrapping up an evening that celebrated not just fashion, but the voices and visions behind it.
The Bomb Fashion Show was more than a runway event; it was a vibrant celebration of talent, innovation, and culture. As the last guest left Lavan Midtown, one thing was certain: fashion’s future is bold, bright, and beautifully diverse, thanks to these remarkable designers who are just getting started.
