On Wednesday, The Garden Room in Atlanta was transformed into an intimate atmosphere for the premiere of Cooking Sessions with Tamar & Ms. E on CLEO TV. The gathering brought together close family, celebrity friends, and special guests to celebrate Tamar Braxton and her mother, Ms. Evelyn, as they introduced their new show. The event marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the duo.
Tamar and Ms. E are already familiar faces on television, but this time, they’re inviting viewers into their kitchen. Cooking Sessions blends delicious recipes with heartfelt conversations, all delivered with the humor and chemistry fans have come to love. The show captures their genuine bond as they prepare family favorites while joking and sharing personal stories.
For Tamar and Ms. E, cooking is more than just a hobby; it’s a tradition that has been passed down through generations. Food has always played a vital role in bringing family together, and this series is a reflection of that. During the premiere event, the duo playfully debated who makes the best dishes while giving each other credit for perfecting their recipes over the years.
Guests were treated to an exclusive sneak peak of the series, where Tamar and Ms. E chatted about their go-to meals, exchanged laughs, and shared touching moments. As expected, the show brings a perfect balance of humor and heart. Viewers can also look forward to guest appearances from Trina Braxton, celebrity stylist Kenyadè La’Mitch Copeland, also known as The Hair Physician, and more.
Rochelle Brown, Co-CEO and Executive Producer of Powerhouse Productions, spoke about her time on set with the two and how their authenticity only made her admiration for them grow.
“This is them being unapologetically who they are,” Brown said. “They’re not pretending to be chefs. They really grew up cooking.”
Tamar also took a moment to give her mother her flowers, thanking Ms. Evelyn for shaping her into the woman she is today. She reflected on how her mother’s love for cooking has influenced not only her life but also the creation of the show.
“My mother has taught me everything I know about being an amazing Black woman,” Tamar said. “She grew up like me and my sisters, surrounded by family in the kitchen, and to see this show come to life is such a beautiful thing.”
Cooking Sessions with Tamar & Ms. E premieres Wednesday, March 26, at 9 p.m. ET/CT on CLEO TV. This is one series that promises to warm your heart and your kitchen.
