Through The Amazing Author Catalog, I am redefining “Her” story by creating a platform that amplifies the voices of Black female self-published authors while bridging the literacy gap in underserved and underrepresented communities. As a six-time self-published author and the founder of a certified Black-woman-owned business, I intimately understand the barriers Black women face in traditional publishing. I turned those challenges into opportunities by building a resource that uplifts diverse authors and connects their powerful stories with schools, libraries, and community organizations across the nation.
This mission-driven work is about more than books—it’s about representation, empowerment, and access. By offering titles that support SEL, STEAM, and inclusion, The Amazing Author Catalog equips schools and organizations with tools to inspire pride, empathy, and success in young readers. Through this endeavor, I am not only fostering literacy but also championing Black women in publishing and ensuring their stories are seen, celebrated, and shared.
