Keke Palmer advances her reign of consecutively winning again and again, collecting yet another trophy by becoming the premier Chief Brand Officer of legendary Black beauty brand, Creme of Nature®. 

Keke Palmer and Creme of Nature continue to celebrate their prolific partnership and this time, in their shared hometown of Chicago. In honor of Black Heritage Month, the partners gathered at The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center, a Smithsonian affiliate, to celebrate the cultural significance of Black women and their hairstyles throughout history. 

Back in 1961, artist, educator, writer and activist, Dr. Margaret Taylor Burroughs and her husband, Charles Burroughs founded The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center, which was originally named the Ebony Museum of Negro History and Art and later became the eponym for Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable, the Haitian-born founder of Chicago. Located in the city’s historic Washington Park, the museum is the mecca of history, education, and cultural connection. 

Creme of Nature was Black founded on the South Side of Chicago in 1976, serving up stellar hair care products for the women coiffed in curls, waves, and coils and for nearly half a century, the beauty brand has preserved their mission of nourishing Black women’s manes. 

With a face-card that does not have an option for declination and as a fellow Chicagoan, multi-hyphenated, Emmy Award winning star and naturalista, Keke Palmer was the perfect partner. The collaboration consists of but is not limited to, Keke contributing to the Creme of Nature team with product shaping and innovation, packaging and product demos. “This partnership means so much more than just being an ambassador or face of the brand, but more importantly, I get to have a voice in shaping the future of a company that truly cares about the same things I do – authenticity, representation, and natural beauty.” 

The CMO and CEO of the Keke Palmer brand will also assist with brand direction and campaign curation. “Throughout Keke’s remarkable professional career and personal life, she’s demonstrated her authentic self, in line with our brand ethos.” Head of Marketing for Creme of Nature, Chandra Coleman stated.
