The long-time radio show and sports podcast host Peter Rosenberg joins the former NFL stars Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder on their podcast, “The Pivot.” The trio of cohosts dove into Rosenberg’s unlikely path into music, sports, and living his truth even in a world where he didn’t fit its norm. They discussed how Rosenberg stood out and how being involved in hip-hop culture taught him unity in other cultures. Peter revealed several criticisms he received during his journey, but said that having a strong ethic will keep him around long after the critics stop talking.

Rosenberg explained his love for the Washington Commanders and why Jayden Daniels is the NFL’s Rookie of The Year. The HOT 97 and WWE analyst discussed how his unique loves for hip-hop and sports have intersected throughout his career, which allowed him to launch several platforms like his “This Ain’t Texas” podcast that covers why he thinks Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter deserves Album Of The Year at the GRAMMYs.

Rosenberg got vulnerable about how he sought validation in his life journeys, especially after a painful divorce. Regarding his past need of validation, Rosenberg said, “Mine wasn’t one of alcohol or drugs, it was an addiction of needing to be validated by others.” His painful experience allowed him to learn how to let go and move forward in faith as he’s finding joy through unexpected moments.

Peter exuded happiness in his thoughts of becoming a first time father, after he revealed his past fertility issues, and talked to the cohost trio about their fatherhood experiences. Rosenberg noted something that people said to him in the past as he dealt with personal issues, “Usually people would tell me, “Hey man, thank God you don’t have kids.” Everyone loves to say that. “Thank God you don’t have kids. And I be like, “All I wanted was to have kids.” They thought they were saying the right thing, by the way, they were right… We never really talk about the men that want children, and not getting to have them. That’s a real thing. And I have fertility issues, that’s something I never really said out loud.”
