R&B singer-songwriter TA Thomas kicks off the holiday season with an original Christmas song. “Under The Tree,” out now via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings, is a seductive Santa jam that’s infused with ice-melting melodies.
Spreading holiday cheer with love-making in mind, TA croons about his gratitude for companionship on the new single. “Under The Tree” weaves a tale of romance, warmth, and joy to kickstart the season of giving, celebrating Christmas in a way uniquely his own: “The city lights are dressed in white / It’s feeling like a silent night / I just wanna be with the one I love.”
“Under The Tree” continues TA’s incredible run this year, which includes inking a new deal with High Standardz and Def Jam Recordings. He parlayed that momentum into “Risky,” a heartwarming cut that earned positive reviews from publications such as Rated R&B, YouKnowIGotSoul, HITS Daily Double, and more. Then came the July-released gem “Angry,” further solidifying his reputation as one of today’s most exciting vocalists.
Ending 2023 on a high note by dropping his acclaimed album, Caught Between 2 Worlds, TA generated plugs from beyond Vibe and more. Billboard applauded “June 15” among its “R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week,” giving flowers to the artist’s ability to “carve out a soul-stirring effort for his rookie project.”
As fans eagerly await what’s next from the southern soul act, one thing remains certain – TA Thomas is a force to be reckoned with and is on a trajectory towards superstardom.
