The Black Spectrum Theater Co. Dinner Theater Series is proud to announce a special one night only celebration featuring performances by notable spoken word artist, Gha’il Rhodes Benjamin, and Grammy Nominated Recording Artist, Jonathan Butler on November 16, 2024. The highly-anticipated event will take place at the theatre’s commercial residence in Roy Wilkins Park, 177-01 Baisley Boulevard, Jamaica. NY, 11434.
It is a part of Black Spectrum’s staple Dinner Theatre series, in which consumers experience fine dining at 5PM, and the entertainment at 7PM.
“I can’t think of a better place to watch Jonathan Butler than at the Black Spectrum Theatre,” says an Addisleigh Park resident.
Billed as a Pre-Thanksgiving Concert, this early holiday show is the second production and first concert of Black Spectrum’s 2024-2025 season, following the acclaimed opener Black Spurs.
Butler, who hails from South Africa, made history when he became the first non-white artist to be played on South African radio and appear on national television. He has multiple top 10 Billboard hits including the two Grammy-nominated singles “Lies” and “Sarah, Sarah,” as well as, “More Than Friends.”
As an added incentive, tickets for both the dinner and show are $90. For the concert only, tickets are $60. Subscribers receive 20% off Dinner Theatre shows and other concerts. Proceeds from this event will benefit art and entertainment programs for students.
