SHEEN: Can you share the journey that led you to found Sheer Purity and what inspired you to focus on vaginal health?
Sheer Purity: Prior to me starting sheer purity I suffered with a great deal of vaginal issues. I honestly didn’t know why it kept being a reoccurring issue. I did a lot of research on different topics about bacterial vaginosis (BV), yeast infections, and urinary tract infections (UTI’s) . I discovered that the majority of women are affected with these issues annually. Because of this, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a product that can help not only me but everyone. Because of this, helping women across the nation became a passion of mine. Which fueled my willingness to succeed within the feminine care industry.
SHEEN: How does your personal struggle with bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections influence the products you develop at Sheer Purity?
Sheer Purity: My personal struggles with bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections have deeply shaped the products we create at Sheer Purity. Having gone through the same health challenges, I understand the frustration and discomfort many young girls and women face. That connection drives me to design products that address the gaps I found in other remedies. Each product is thoughtfully developed to provide what other solutions lacked, ensuring they cater to specific needs and offer long-lasting results. My experience allows me to empathize with our customers while delivering products that truly make a difference.
SHEEN: What were some of the challenges you faced when starting your business and how did you overcome them?
Sheer Purity: I would say probably being in the public eye, starting a business seems easy from the outside. It’s not just packing and shipping orders. It’s standing in front of your brand daily, no matter what people say you have to stand by your products. I had a hard time accepting that I can’t please everyone. Once I realized that it became easier.
SHEEN: How is Sheer Purity addressing the gaps in knowledge and care regarding vaginal health, particularly for young women under 21?
Sheer Purity Most brands throw products at you and say “use this, this will help” without really educating them on how or why. I make sure that I do that, I educate my community. This subject is already looked down on, so I am a voice and vessel to spread knowledge to any age group.
SHEEN: Can you discuss any upcoming projects or products that Sheer Purity is working on?
Sheer Purity: Right now Sheer Purity is focusing on expansion, we are a fairly new company with a lot of support. But I believe it can be worldwide. So that’s my priority right now.
SHEEN: How do you see Sheer Purity evolving in the next five years and what long-term impact do you hope to achieve in the women’s health sector?
Sheer Purity: I see Sheer Purity growing into a major force in the women’s health industry over the next five years. The momentum we’ve built so far is just the beginning. I’m deeply committed to staying hands-on and continuously improving the brand. My long-term vision is to build a community so impactful that it allows me to branch out into speaking engagements, where I can focus on educating not just about business but also about vaginal and feminine health on a larger scale. Ultimately, my goal is to break down barriers in women’s health education and ensure every woman feels empowered. The sky’s the limit for Sheer Purity!
