Sheen Magazine had the opportunity to talk to Martha E. the owner of I’Marie Fashion Boutique located in Houston, Tx. We needed her opinion on what’s the go-to for fall fashion especially for date night!
What’s the go to colors for fall fashion?
This is the season for print. I would encourage the ladies to find the print that best fits their body type. Cheetah is a go to and can be dressed up or dressed down. It’s also a print that is sexy that could work for a night out in town, date night, or just going to grab a drink. Tobacco, hunger green and burgundy are also some in season colors if print is not your vibe.
What does date night look like for your clients? Especially if the weather is fickle?
Weather is a big factor when finalizing a “look”. If you’re in a climate where the weather is cooler, explore a variety of nudes, but also, make sure your look has flattering elements to your body type. Nudes can be revealing, so I always like to suggest a shapewear just to give a smooth finish to your look.
What fabrics should we be looking out for this fall? Fabrics in the fall are essential to your weather climate. Find a fabric that keeps you cool yet warm as well. Allow your core look to be a fabric that isn’t heavy and pair your look with a sweater or jacket.
Who’s a couple that gives dating & fashion goals? I must say, I gather couple goals from me and my boo. We are both stylish and we find joy and fun in selecting the right outfits that fit our personalities, style and occasions. We travel often and dressing alike helps us create the experience. I would suggest for couples to utilize shopping together as a bonding experience.
The go to prints for fall do’s & Don’ts?
Prints are a favorite for the fall. As suggested, go with what fits your body type. Have fun with patterns and prints, but also be sure to pair your patterns with the right shoe and accessories.
