Elysabeth Lamoureux’s journey of discovery began in 2014 when she left her hometown of Bremerton, Washington, for college. But it was her daring move across the country in 2017 that truly ignited her wanderlust. As she immersed herself in a completely new environment, Elysabeth realized that her love for travel had always been a part of her, simmering just beneath the surface, waiting for the perfect opportunity to take flight.
“I’d likely pin it all down to my desire to learn and do something different,” Elysabeth muses. “I’ve always been the type to do exactly what I want and what brings me joy in life, rather than following the status quo set by others who haven’t done what I’m looking to do.”

In the quiet town of Bremerton, Elysabeth’s childhood travels were modest, yet they sparked a lifelong curiosity. By 21, she had not only earned three degrees but also built a successful career in healthcare. Still, a yearning for adventure tugged at her, compelling her to step outside her comfort zone.

Elysabeth and her friend took a spontaneous trip to Italy in 2021, and it was a total game-changer. It was their first international adventure as adults, and they had the time of their lives, her wanderlust grew stronger, and her eyes sparkled with excitement as she recalled the unforgettable experience.

The wanderlust has taken her on an incredible journey! By 2024, she’d already explored 16 countries and 28 U.S. states. Whether she was soloing, exploring with friends, or embarking on epic treks, every adventure was a new opportunity for joy and growth. Elysabeth loves the thrill of planning a trip but also relishes the spontaneity of last-minute getaways. No matter where her travels take her, she always approaches each experience with excitement and a positive attitude.

“I want to show people that it’s not as scary as it might seem, that it’s possible to travel even while working full-time, and that it doesn’t have to be an extravagant trip to be meaningful,” she explains.
