Calling all coffeeholics, caffeinators, coffee connoisseurs, and coffee aficionados! Black Coffee ATL’s 3rd Annual Black Coffee Festival 2024 is returning to serve the community with stimulating coffee content and CEO conversations.

Empowering Entrepreneurs is the theme of 2024’s Black Coffee Festival. “Coffee enthusiasts and culture creators will hear from and network with our keynote speakers, featured presenters, and subject matter experts.” Baristas will be barista-ing, while performers perform and festival goers can look forward to a fully immersive and multifaceted series of events at Black Coffee, both inside and outside at the beautifully and brilliantly Black Owned, “Ali at Lakewood” Plaza. Beginning on Saturday, June 15th from 10 am till 2pm, a community service event will commence, followed by the VIP Reception and Dinner with messages from Keynote Speakers, from 6pm till 9pm. Guests can return for more fine black coffee and black businesses on Sunday, June 16th from 9am till 5pm, to collect valuable gems during the various panels, engage in the activities, and to explore and shop at the vendor showcase.

The Black Coffee Company™ was founded in 2018, inspired by Berry Gordy’s mission to work together and create a self-sustaining family investment fund, with the fund providing start-up capital for all his family members and the funding for Berry to launch Motown Records. The Black Coffee founders began as high school friends that evolved into a lifelong brotherhood at Xavier University. Once the brothers—Jamin, Christopher, Leonard, Brandon, and Gino, developed their blueprint, they collectively immersed themselves in investment intelligence, which birthed their investment club, “Backpack Investments”. After a few years of building, conferencing, growing, and pooling, The Black Coffee Company™ was launched with their raw values of entrepreneurship, financial freedom, and community empowerment and has been skyrocketing ever since.

Get ready for a billionaire bulletin with keynote speaker and Black Coffee Festival Grand Marshall, John Hope Bryant, the founder, chairman and CEO of Operation Hope. Operation Hope is a non-profit that has been dedicated to financial literacy and economic empowerment for three decades. They recently released strategic plans to further uplift and invest in Black Coffee and other small businesses across America, with the 1 Million Black Businesses Initiative in partnership with Spotify.

Award Winning Personal Injury and Defense Attorney, Johnquel Neal of the Johnquel Neal Firm LLC, will be speaking on the “Women Business Leaders” panel. Johnquel is a leader of the law and is known for achieving swift jury verdicts. As a trial lawyer specializing in criminal defense and personal injury law, a former senior district attorney, and with her extensive civil litigation experience in suing companies on behalf of injured people and before that, defending those companies, Attorney Neal will be sharing some real deal spiels.

Hailing from the HTX to the ATL, Crystal Guillory, “The Birria Queen ™ will be slangin’ information on the “Women Business Leaders” Panel, like her crunchy birria tacos. Real Estate Maven and Elevate Brand Academy Founder, Barmel Lyons and Shea Pegues of IDAP Solutions, are also featured on the panel moderated by My Fab Finance Founder, Tonya Rapley. Corey Arvinger, CEO of the brand and movement, Support Black Colleges will be supporting and keynote speaking at Black Coffee Festival 2024 and attendees can rub elbows with Atlanta City Councilman Representing District 12, Mr. Antonio Lewis, who stays ready and willing to organize, to mobilize, and to ensure that we all can rise together.
