Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America star comedian, Travele Judon will be filming his second live comedy special for Amazon Prime with the goal of ending childhood hunger for the holidays. The live recording will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Theater 47 in Park Forest, IL at 7pm and held in partnership of Compassion International. Through comedy, Compassion International and Judon are hoping to have +1,000 children sponsored throughout the holiday season in order to help subdue childhood hunger as soon as possible.
Judon is known for being a “clean comedian” which creates the perfect family-friendly collaboration with this noble cause. When asked about the initiative, Judon says, “I grew up poor in Chicago’s Secion 8 housing and know what it’s like to be hungry. There were many days where we didn’t know where our next meal was coming from. Now as an adult, it is my goal to use my gifts to help children around the world get the food they need with the help of Compassion International.”
Judon is no stranger to major productions as this will be Judon’s second Amazon Prime live recording since his first one in 2020 entitled, “Travele Judon’s Heir to the Throne Stand Up Comedy Special”. He has also toured as the opening acts for Kirk Franklin, Jonathan McReynolds, Tye Tribute and will soon be opening for Stephanie Mills November 24 in Cleveland, OH and November 25 in St Louis, MO.
