Sheen Magazine caught up with the Baddest Reality Star in the game—Natalie Nunn, for an intimate conversation on the icons million-dollar Businesses and Baddie-ness.
Over 15 years since the UCLA graduate stepped inside the Bad Girls Club, Natalie Nunn feels seen in more ways than her reality show persona. The Wifey, Mommy and Baddie won’t hesitate to swing, and she won’t hesitate to get to bag. From jet setting, headlining national and international events, to her latest acquisition— her hometown dispensary, Natalie Nunn is creating a prosperous and poppin’ lifestyle around all the things she loves—beauty, blunts, and baddies.
Natalie pulled up to the A to handle some business and took the time to delve into some hot topics, such as expanding the Bad Girl Empire, who a few of her favorite—and not so favorites are BG’s are, what’s to come on Baddies East and how she’s keeping her foot on her favorite industries necks.
When the idea to expand the Bad Girl empire sparked, Natalie Nunn overstood that, for the type of reality TV content she wanted to create, streaming was trendy and traditional television was ancient—especially considering that in the past, her former network—Oxygen had denied several of her ideas. Along came CEO of Zeus network—Lemuel Plummer, giving the talent creative control, ready for action and fully Black Owned, which was the biggest highlight for Natalie when solidifying her decision to move forward with continuing the Bad Girl legacy. The Executive Producer wanted the lifestyles of real bad girls to be represented properly and for viewers to experience the full authenticity of how Baddies get down. Baddies is now Zeus Networks number one show, followed by Bad Boys, which is currently taking over Texas in its second season, featuring former Disney child star, Orlando Brown, and B2K’s Razz B. Natalie also EP’d Zeus Networks, Blueface, and Chrisean: Crazy in Love.
“It’s great over here at Zeus!”
As far as the upcoming Baddies East Season, Natalie was intentional about fans seeing the live casting call, which is how everyone was first introduced to who runs L.A. In her Bunim and Murray days—the production company responsible for MTV’s The Real World, The Challenge, and Oxygens Bad Girls Club, she felt like the auditions should have been filmed. Till this day, her casting tape is still circulating and trending on TikTok and the reality TV maven knew that fans wanted to see how some of these ladies got in the house. Preceding season four, Baddies lovers get to see two episodes of the casting call pandemonium, with part two featuring DMV natives—Tokyo Toni and Angela “Black Chyna” White.
Oxygens Bad Girls Club never had an experience set in New York City and the Baddies are ready to initiate the coast. As far as who will be in the house, all the Triple OG Baddie can tell you is— in what is predicted to be Baddies biggest season, you will see some OG’s, some newbies and they’re all giving Baddie. One of her intentions behind mixing the generations is so that these younger girls, like rapper Chrisean Rock—who, Natalie confirms is a certified superstar and know it all, can still learn a thing or two from these industry veterans such as, her favorite Bad Girl of all time—the walking goldmine that is, Loren “Lo London” Jordan and Love and Hip Hop star, Tommie Lee. When asked who her least favorite Bad Girl of all time was, she confirms it’s Bad Girls Club alumni—Camilla Poindexter. Natalie says it’s one thing to entertain and make great TV, but it’s an entirely different situation when a person chooses to get really nasty and bring children into it. Everyone knows, when it comes to fussing and fighting, the children are off limits. However, being a mother who loves seeing other paid mothers, she would allow Camilla to pull to a Baddie House and level up her baggage.
Earlier this year, Natalie and Tommie Lee’s feud took to the ring at the O2 Arena in London, for the two Baddies to shoot the ones pre the Floyd Mayweather versus Aaron Chalmers bout. Nunn dominated, leaving Lee stunned and stung. As to why Zeus Network mostly disrupts the fights as soon as they better they get, she says some of the girls really don’t want to get busy and the occasional intervention keeps everything balanced—unless, of course, the girls choose to simply square up. When asked if the Baddies would now begin sparring as a seasonal event, Natalie said she may incorporate some physical challenges for the Baddies to endure to slightly shift their competitiveness from being the prettiest and pettiest, to being more powerful and plentiful.
From Louis Vuitton to multiple streams of money bags, Natalie Nunn is having fun on the run, getting everything, a Baddie could want. Five years ago, Natalie Nunn Cosmetics was born, featuring an assortment of Lip-glosses and her bestselling, Bad Girl, and Baddie themed Natalie Lashes such as, the I Run LA Lash and the Baddie ATL Lash, to name a few. The line is available in retailers in Dubai, Nigeria, Miami, and LA, to name a few. The author says she took a few of her favorite things she loves and made a brand out of them. Although Sephora and ULTA have reached out, right now—from the product packaging to hosting fabulous yacht parties, she’s enjoying being hands on and having full control of her brand.
Ms. Nunn is keeping her hyphenates very interesting, as the Westcoast native recently added Ganja farmer to her bio. The Baddie Farm is lit and the Baddie Blunts are pre-rolled with nothing but the very best Cali herb and flowers. Coming this fall, Natalie launches her CBD Skincare line. Natalie ensures she is the initiator of great ideas, and the numbers don’t lie. These business savvy moves are the reasons why the fifteen-year vet recently caught the attention of Forbes. The Baddie Baddie Shot o’ Clock has struck win and having had the biggest and most memorable show on Oxygen, Natalie says it’s about damn time Bad Girls Club Veterans get recognized for their big ones.
