Singer-songwriter Arthur Jae is on a mission to strengthen relationships and inspire couples to stay committed, faithful this Valentine’s Day. The award winning singer released his latest single for the grown and sexy titled “My Valentine” last night on YouTube and has already garnered hundreds of views. 

Inspired by his desire to see love and relationships flourish, The R&B single is a new Valentine’s Day anthem. “I wrote this song a couple of years ago after seeing that there was a lot of trouble in the world in terms of men and women in relationships struggling to find a reason to stay because of the pressures of life inside and outside of so many homes,” Jae tells Sheen. 

“It’s a special day for happiness/ celebrate that you’re the best/ And it feels so good to know having you/ my life’s in full effect/ words cannot express the way you make me feel/ so I thought to give it a try/ The smile I wear says I’m glad to know you are the sparkle in my eye/ From my heart to yours I say,” he sings in the first verse. 

It’s a reminder to live in the moment, to think about the core values and good qualities that made you fall in love in the first place before comparisons and keeping up with the Joneses was ever an issue. It’s a reminder to love your special someone for who they are, as they are. 

Produced by Ivan Johnson, the hit maker brought out his Nylon guitar and piano to create the soulful vibe that has romantics dancing to a new song, a new rhythm, and a new beat. With beautiful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and harmonies so unifying that it could make any couples bond stronger and more powerful – the song stands to inspire love.
