A local company Upminders, the leading creator and manufacturer of uplifting, encouraging art and accessories will be featured in the 65th GRAMMY Awards® Gift Bag.

Presenters and performers will receive Upminders’ Love Respect Unity (LRU) medallion in their official gift bag.

The LRU medallion is targeted to become the international symbol of love, respect and unity. It conveys the message, though we are different and don’t always agree, through love and respect we have unity.

Upminders is providing GRAMMY® presenters and performers one Love Respect Unity medallion to wear and one to share in support of a world where every individual receives the love and respect they are inherently entitled to.

“We are honored to be selected and associated with the 65th GRAMMY Awards and provide our Love Respect Unity medallion to the show’s presenters and performers in the legendary GRAMMY Gift Bag,” said Upminders co-founder Kelvin Kelley. “Upminders customers are empowering a mission to remove barriers that hinder those in need from getting access to mental health care.”

A portion of all Upminders profits is used to provide access to mental health care for those in need. “We understand the critical need for access to mental health care, and the costs that is too often a barrier.” (Kelley) This marks the beginning of Upminders’ Million Medallions for Mental Wellness campaign that is projected to provide 20,000 hours for mental health care for those in need. The goal is to eradicate racism, bullying, suicide and all forms of hatred while promoting mental wellness.

The Upminders GRAMMY Awards Gift Bag bundle will include two of the Love Respect Unity medallions. The medallions are forged with quality metal alloys with words and images that convey the message of every person’s immeasurable value, while providing encouragement to deal with difficult times. The back reads “please don’t give up no matter what you go through and never doubt the fact that the world needs you.” Also, the mental health crisis help phone number is included.

Live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and hosted by Trevor Noah, the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live on Sun, Feb. 5, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
