The Awards Show venue was a spectacular sight surrounded by clouds and heavenly white decor draped the evening for Carolina Fashion creatives and industry insiders. Charlotte NC hosted the 2022 Awards Show honoring fashion creatives & Industry insiders from NC & SC or those who have business in NC or SC at the Midtown Ballroom in Charlotte NC on May 21, 2022.
This event featured Spring & Summer presentations from H&M. Mrs. NCUS Continental Phaedra Pistone hosted the CFA red carpet along with other prestigious media outlets.
Since the beginning of time art has been judged. In fact, it can be argued that art is only made to be judged, and artists only chase that high of being told that something they spent hours pouring their souls into is adequate. This is especially true within the fashion industry. Although the Devil Wears Prada was fictional, the rare Miranda nod of approval that everyone craves is genuine. Between the MET, Oscars, and Grammy’s, fashion is always being judged, and the designers, stylists, and creative directors along with it.
The Carolina Fashion Awards was hosted by Charlotte Hornet Host and Radio personality Jacinda Jacobs and opening the show are media Host Ryan Jor El’ and Yamaris Polanco. This event will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Emerging Designer Jasmine Rhodes stated “They might as well get to know me now because I’m not going anywhere”
While Teen Model of the year Kristin Blythe stated how honored she was to win Teen model of the year twice in a row.
