Today, we are highlighting the #YouTubeBlack Voices Creator Class of 2022. This incredible group includes animators, educators, entertainers, family vloggers, foodies, gamers, lifestyle vloggers, LGBTQ+ vloggers, social commentators, tech enthusiasts, wanderlusters, and more. Angela Rye and Crissa Jackson are amongst a few that are named this year!
These creators are the second class to receive grants from the #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund, a multi-year initiative dedicated to uplifting and growing Black creators on our platform, and we are honored that they have chosen to partner with us. As we look to learn from the past during Black History Month, we also look to celebrate the many ways that Black creativity has inspired progress.
Over the next year, Youtube will continue to work closely with these creators, offering them dedicated partner support, seed funding invested into the development of their channels, and participation in an intensive development program that will focus on training in production, community engagement and wellbeing, followed by ongoing workshops and networking programs.
