Celebrity’s Soul Food, the country’s fastest-growing soul food chain, was recently named a winner of the Bronze Maverick of the Year in the Consumer Services category at the 19th annual Stevie Awards. The company’s historic move to be the first national soul food chain and its innovative approach to serving and presenting the cuisine are part of what helped secure the win.

Nicknamed the Stevie’s for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. More than 3,800 nominations were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. This was a record number of entries. Winners of the 2021 Stevie Awards were honored through a virtual ceremony. Celebrity’s Soul Food’s acceptance speech was presented by Dr. Fredrick Jacobs, Co-Founder and CEO. How does it feel for Celebrity’s Soul Food to be a recipient of the prestigious Stevie Award?

We are incredibly honored and thrilled to be the recipient of the Bronze Maverick of the Year award,” said Dr. Fredrick Jacobs, Co-Founder and CEO of Celebrity’s Soul Food. “Despite the challenges of the past year, our team remained focused and committed to our growth, and for that we are so grateful.
