Music icon Jody Watley, one of the architects of 21st century pop dropped by The Real Talk Show to chat about The Jody Watley Experience exhibit to be unveiled at the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) in Nashville, signature home line, complete with candles and fragrances and her iconic looks we have come to know and love. Jody Watley is a the first-ever membership ambassador for NMAAM. The Real is led by hosts, Garcelle Beauvais, and Emmy® Award-winners Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai Jenkins.

I am so excited and honored about the unveiling of The Jody Watley Experience at NMAAM. Many of my iconic music video outfits, starting with my solo debut will be on display and a whole music anthology of my solo career.
Tell us about the Jody Watley signature home line?
I’ve always believed in the power of surrounding yourself with a relaxing scent and good music. I have expanded my signature home line with the release of new home fragrances, soy candles, bath and body oil, conditioning beard oil for men, and roll-on fragrances. The beautiful Grammy winning trendsetting pioneer in music, video, fashion and style will return to Blue Note Napa on Saturday, June 26th for a special socially distance outdoor evening at the beautiful Charles Krug Winery presented by Wine & Pride Concert Series in Northern California. She said, “I am looking forward to seeing all of my Watley Wattage Warriors.” “This will be my first concert in over a year due to the pandemic.”
