At just 16-years-old, this lifestyle sensation has created quite the name for herself. Ameenha Lee launched her lifestyle brand, Ameenha Lee which has garnered millions of followers from around the nation. In her latest project, she curated a novel in hopes of helping readers when it comes to  100K followers on TikTok, it’s clear to see that this young star is break down barriers and make her own rules in the entrainment industry.

What made you want to launch your lifestyle website?

Pretty much my whole entire family has been in the music industry for five decades. It started with my uncle, but I wanted to be my own person and brand. I’ve always loved writing and telling stories. Creating my website was my way to branch out and make my own name. At the same time, I wanted to tell true stories that inspire young girls like myself.

What inspired your novel, Ameenha Lee’s High School Survival Guide.

In high school, students endure so much. Of course, there is social media and cyber bullying. Mental illness is arising, especially with teenagers. I wanted to create a guide for high school students to really help them throughout their time there. If I had that, it would’ve been beneficial to me. The survival guide talks about COVID-19 and the merge between parents and their children during this time.

How did it feel when you found out you reached 100K on TikTok?

It was actually pretty surprising. I joined TikTok as a joke. I was just doing reactions, but I wanted to incorporate my lifestyle brand into it. It was surprising and actually amazing because I feel like I was able to reach people in different countries.

What are you currently working on and what can we expect to see from you in 2021?

We don’t really know how the year 2021 will go but I will be promoting my book, Ameenha Lee’s High School Survival Guide which discusses COVID-19. I will be releasing another book which is a spinoff on the pandemic, but it will be more non-fiction. I just want to kill it in the industry and pave my own way. I’m making my own rules so really, you don’t know what to expect in 2021 when it comes to Ameenha Lee (laughs).
