Part of the beauty of being a human being the fact that we are all so unique. Our personal traits help define who we are – and who we are not. There are certain people in our population and even in our own families, who dance to the beat of their own drum. They are generally considered different and do not subscribe to the ideas that others may have for them. Sometimes we refer to these people as “black sheep.”
If you are not considered the “black sheep” in your family, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however, the true nature of a “black sheep” means that you naturally stand out from the crowd and this part of your persona can often make others feel uncomfortable. These feelings from other people stem from their own insecurities and expectations of you and how you are navigating through the world. It challenges their own thoughts while disrupting the ideas they have about what you should or should not be doing.
