Growing up in South East Washington D.C., Paris White felt sheltered from the harsh reality of racism, and inequality during the 80’s. Instead embraced by a community of families, that celebrated and cared for one another. A community ultimately destroyed by drugs, violence, and poverty. An eyewitness account of a war through a child’s eyes, which was his normal life. Everyday people were disappearing all around him. He learned at an early age to enjoy life, have fun, and try to be good at everything. “Until you’re great at something. That’s how you make it out of the ghetto. That’s how legends are born”, says Paris.
His self-taught multi-layered style carried over into his poetry and writings. Paris has incorporated this technique into everything he writes, or designs. Making projects multifaceted in unique, and wonderful ways. Paris himself is Multi-talented as he is an accomplished artist, poet, author, song writer, music engineer, graphic artist, and board game designer. Paris’ has over 25 years of experience in management, hospitality, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics. Teamed with his wife Kona White, and her experience in HR management, project management, security analyst, and cyber security; they have formed the Whites LLC in 2018.

What made you want to become an entrepreneur?
I realized that I no longer wanted my success or growth to be determined by someone else. Recognizing my God given gifts, mastering that talent, and creating a finished product is success to me. I truly believing that there is a need for the products that I create. The vision and success of my products should solely rest in my hands, and not the will of others.
What would you tell your 21-year-old self?
Don’t let your insecurities stop you from succeeding. Be open minded and positive to change. Listen to those that came before you.
What do you want to say to the woman or man who doesn’t feel like their good enough to make it in the marketplace?
You will never know how far you can go until you try. Be brave, and open to judgement and failures. Invest in yourself and your dreams.
What do you want people to know about you?
I truly believe in fairness, equality, and community. I advocate for the education and development of our youth. I believe the success of my project will give families fun and excitement for generations to come.
