Some changes have been made to the Academy Awards.
The 2021 Oscars looks to appear a little different than usual
. It was recently revealed that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has altered the Best Picture category for the 94th Academy Awards.
It will feature 10 nominees as part of the Academy Aperture 2025 equity and inclusion initiative. This effect will start on July 31st.
The Academy also revealed that they will implement quarterly viewing process to ensure that members had the chance to view films released all year-round to broad “broaden each film’s exposure, level the playing field, and ensure all eligible films can be seen by voting members” (the official statement read).
