Do we have a problem? No, because Nicki Minaj finally released the video for her hit, viral drill song “We Go Up” featuring Fivio Foreign, and it’s so New York! The Queen of Hip-Hop first teased fans with a snippet of the single on her social media, stating it was ‘scrapped’ and wouldn’t be on her upcoming album. After the Barbz demanded the song to be released, Minaj dropped the record surprisingly on one of her pink Fridays. The single currently has over half of a million Tik Tok videos organically with no radio play and label backing— Queen things for sure. The visual for “We Go Up” has amassed over 5 million views and continues to trend. Nicki Minaj isn’t playing fair this year, as this is her third single released back-to-back, receiving raving reviews. Prior, she dropped “Do We Have A Problem?” featuring Lil Baby, a single taking over radio charts, and “Bussin.” After recently dropping album hints on Twitter, we’re gathering our coins for the future release. Here are some words of encouragement from the rap icon:
It should make you know that no matter what odds are against you if you have a calling/gift and you always keep gratitude and humility right up there wit it, u can overcome any & everything. Notice I didn’t say clout & social media likes. I said calling/gift + gratitude/humility https://t.co/ZUJmPHOuZK
