Self-described as a mix between Eazy E, Dr. Dre, and Gucci Mane, Quis Esko is a rap artist who talks the talk and walks the walk, and his career started at the age of 12. Growing up in Florence, South Carolina, surrounded by many forms of adversity, Quis has a lot of life experience he can draw from for his material.
Driven by a singular goal to make money, it may seem that Quis is materialistic, but this is not the case at all. Money is a sign of stature and stability, but it also gives him a way to give back to his community that helped shape the man he is today, to spread his wealth to help those less fortunate. Quis relies on strength and determination to make something of himself in today’s social media-driven landscape, where getting rich quickly seems to be everyone’s primary goal.
These traits, mixed with his undeniable talent, make him stand out amongst his peers and siblings. With five brothers and one sister to compete with at home, strong survival instincts were needed to succeed and shine uniquely bright while doing so.
His debut album, The 21st Century, was released in December 2020 at the height of the pandemic, his tracks Uh Oh Ohh Sh*t, … Would You Ride, and Both Sides have reached just under 20,000 views, so far, with new tracks released in 2021. However, Pain and Lose It shows promise to eclipse these numbers.
Quis Esko has been spending his time during the pandemic honing his craft and getting ready to go big in 2022. So watch this space for new things to come!
